california

March 2013-present

A biodiverse land where everyone wants to live.

California's flaw is that the geography and climate are so good that everyone wants to live there. As a result, the state is overpopulated. In recent years, it's no secret that residents are leaving the state, as the heavy traffic, constant wildfires, crowded parks and competitive real estate prices outweigh the benefits of the climate and geography.

I haven't spent as much time in this great state as I should. There are some cold but amazing caves I have yet to enter, as well as parts of the Sierra Nevada and the Trinity Alps I'd like to explore. I have done a lot in the southern deserts, the big cities, and the northern coastal forests. I always return.
