Someday (soon?) I hope to get to the Philippines to explore some caves. There are constantly new caves being found in this tropical country, and right now is probably the golden age of Filipino cave exploration - meaning more are being explored and found now than will ever be again.

Samar Island, Negros Occidental, and parts of western Mindanao seem to be the hotspots, with thick jungle overlying karst features.

It's also a great country for travel, with cheap prices, safe towns and cities, and a warm and fun-loving culture. It's amazing that I've never been here.
