From the desert to Patagonia.

Chile is one of the world's best nations for adventure. Just about every adventure sport exists here, and there are more wildernesses than you could see in a lifetime. Truth be told, the weather in the south is horrible, with cold rain all summer. When the sun does come out, the place is heaven.

We spent much of our time in Chile on our Patagonia Rivers Kayaking Expedition, but also visited Santiago and the Atacama, and spent a month living in Ensenada and working at a national park.

Chile is one of my favorite countries. It's clean and developed like the western world, but life isn't so fast and consumerism-focused. It's fairly expensive, but, as they say, you get what you pay for - the experiences of a lifetime.
