The South Pacific's most visited nation.

The name 'Fiji' conjures up paradise to most people. It's a verdant nation of colorful coral, tropical sunsets, warm rain, and incredible beaches.

I visited twice, each time for a few days, during the long transit from the US to Australia. Admittedly, I didn't put much effort into my visits, and didn't see as much as I would've like to. I stayed on the main island of Viti Levu. The towns and cities are not that nice, but the people are wonderful, if a little hungry for tourist dollars. I heard the outer islands are fantastic.
