Flat and humid.

Mississippi doesn't have the best reputation in the US. It's flat, muddy, and poor, with backwards politics and regular hurricane damage.

Nevertheless, I visited in college as part of a volunteer project for the Red Cross. I found the people to be friendly, and the weather fantastic. I don't go back often.
