Between the NE and the South.

North Carolina is more relaxed than Pennsylvania where I gre up, but it's not quite the Deep South. It's got decent beaches and decent mountains. I've been here heaps of times, usually on road trips. I've had fun surfing the Outer Banks, kiteboarding the lagoons, and hiking in the Blue Ridge mountains.
