Maritime Canada.

Nova Scotia is well-known to Canadians, but not so much to Americans. Fortunately, it's not far from the US border.

I've made several trips up here to go hiking and camping in the long summer days. The province is beautiful, with rolling green mountains, picturesque villages, and some of the friendliest people anywhere. It's also the jumping-off point to Newfoundland - the ferry goes from North Sydney to Port-aux-Basques.
