Vast, impressive wilderness.

Yukon, to Americans, is just 'on the way' to Alaska. It's overlooked by most travelers. That's unfortunate, because it is a stunning land of enormous and beautiful landscapes, with some of the most pristine wilderness in the world.

I spent a week here, solo, staying in Whitehorse and Carcross and doing day hikes. I only saw a tiny portion of this huge land. I slept in my tent in urban campgrounds, and hitchhiked to get around. Loved it.
